It’s amazing, but her 6 month maternity leave ended today. To make her feel better, I had flowers delivered and later, I personally took her Starbucks. 🙂
I have no idea how to cook most of these, and if I was braver, I might try….. Shanghai has such wild diversity of foods.
Today, two different grade 6 students presented me some images they made for my Birthday. One is a soccer card, and the other is Jedi Sutton cause he said I’m just that awesome! 🙂 I love these kids, so amazing and thoughtful.
So last night, I sat down late before head and ate more than I wanted. It was a strange assortment, but good. It was, my last meal in my 3rd decade of life. Farewell 39!
Before school started, 3 former students brought me Starbucks and home made brownies! As the day progressed, the sweets kept coming. I’m so lucky to teach in a school with such loving and thoughtful kids.
A new restaurant just opened down the road, they had the coolest grand opening ceremony!
I really will miss the quality of school lunches where I work. As a free meal every day, it can’t be beat! 🙂
So Thomas called the other day and then shared these photos. Seems his buddy and he went someplace and rocked out some VR games, then won a pink bear!! Ya, that’s living the Dream for sure! Lol
